Suggested Use:

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Brownie Mix (1 bag)
  • 1 egg (Egg Substitution: 2 tablespoons applesauce)
  • 2/3 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup Ellyndale® Organics Canola Oil

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease 8″ x 8″ baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine water, Ellyndale Organics® Canola Oil, and egg.
  3. Add brownie mix and use a whisk or electric mixer to mix for 3 to 5 minutes until texture is smooth.
  4. Spread batter into prepared baking pan and bake for 35 minutes.
  5. Let brownies cool for 20 minutes, then serve.

Store in a cool, dry place.

High Altitude Baking Instructions: To prepare at high altitude, please make the following adjustments:
•    Decrease overall baking time by 5 minutes per 30 minutes of total baking time.
•    Increase oven temperature by 25°F.
•    Increase the amount of liquid by 1 tsp per 3,000 ft. above sea level and increase by an additional 1 tsp for every 1,000 ft. thereafter.
