Dr. Christopher’s Comfrey Ointment is a synergistic blend formulated to help with itching, chapping, minor burns, abrasions, scrapes and bruises.
Used historically by natural healers and many herbalists to help regenerate proper joint function and healthy connective tissue, healthy bones, many skin disorders as well as helping to promote the general health of the skin and nails. (Primary use: external)

Ingredients: Comfrey Leaf & Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a beeswax.

Important Note: Recently the FDA has required all manufactures to place this warning on all products containing comfrey. Dr. Christopher obviously had a different opinion regarding this wonderful herb. Dr. Christopher taught and believed that herbs should be used in their entirety. He believed that when herbs are used in their wholesome state, they would not cause problems. Problems arise when you alter or isolate compounds within the herbs, as is done with standardized extracts. Dr. Christopher used whole herbs in his formulas. No research was done by the FDA concerning the use of whole herbs ? only that pyrrolizidine alkaloids alone cause liver damage.
