Alvita Black Cohosh Root Tea is made with premium-quality, organic black cohosh root, and possesses a beautiful caramel color with a slightly bitter taste and a distinct earthy aroma. Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) is so named in part due to the herbs dark roots and in part for the Algonquin word for rough, referring to the plants knotted root structure. The roots of black cohosh have been traditionally used for more than two centuries by Native Americans and Europeans to help support womens health.*

PREPARATION: Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: We recommend 1 cup twice daily.

Add sweetener if desired. Naturally caffeine free.
